I have been slacking at the blogging thing lately. Sometimes, being a "single"( by single meaning, I am the only one here) mommy to 3 little girls can be a little overwhelming and exhausting so I don't find the time sit down and type. So, you may wonder what has been going on in the "crazy life of the Mill's family." It is just that at times, CRAZY! Shane is officially out of active duty now. He came home on Friday, but left again Sunday to go train for his new job. Early May he will be going back to Afghanistan, but as a civilian this time around. While in Afghanistan he worked with some guys that were "contractors" that were contracted to help out with the Army. During this time, he was offered a job as a contractor. With many sleepless night, praying, thinking, more praying, more thinking and pondering, when the time got closer for him to ETS from the Army, he accepted the job. It's not exactly the job I was hoping for because I do want my family together, however, due to the job market and economy these days, I guess I should be thankful he has a job. He will be working a 60/30 day rotation, so who knows, maybe it will be a good transition for us considering I am use to being a "single" mom and doing everything my own way.
So he came home on Friday, we took the girls to Carowinds on Saturday, and he left on Sunday. The girls had a BLAST at Carowinds because they could ride the big roller coasters for the first time. They could have rode them last year but I was pregnant and was unable to ride with them. Needless to say, they LOVED them all. They are such little thrill seekers. They are tom boys that dress like girly girls. I guess that's a good combination, huh? "Little Bit" has been sick since Friday:( I took her in to see the Doctor Sat. before we went to Carowinds, and he said it was viral and she has allergies. The pollen is SO BAD so I'm sure some of it is allergies, but I am getting really concerned with her cough now. Hopefully she will feel better before tomorrow. If not, we will make another trip to the doctor.
As far me, I am slowly pursing photography. I absoulutely LOVE the art of photography and am hoping to one day have my own photography studio/business.
So, here are some pictures from the past few weeks.
Here are the twins pretending to look into a mirror. The sun was a little too bright, but thought I would share anyways.
Look who is learning to hold her bottle;
Sisters
It's almost impossible to get a picture of the three of these girls. The twins are so WIDE OPEN and do not want to sit still for a picture.
Look who is learning to sit up.
