Image Center - Olan Mills Portrait Studios

Here are a few pictures I had made yesterday. I have not taken Kelsey and kaley to a studio in at least 3 years and Kinsley has never been in one. Olan Mills had a great coupon so I thought...why not? Kelsey and Kaley kept saying, "Mom, you do better.", "Mom, this pose is crazy.", "Mom, why didn't you just take our picture...etc" I did apologize to the photographer and explained to her that I was somewhat of a photorapher. She was very understanding and kind of got a chuckle out it.

This one I just had to share. It shows how excited the twins were to be having their pictures made. LOL

Proud Mommy Moment

I am so proud of Kelsey and Kaley. They made the honor's chorus at their school:) I can't wait until they start preforming.

Talking with Daddy

Today when the girls got home from school they were able to talk to Shane on webcam. Because of the time difference, he is normally in bed by then and they don't get to talk to him. They were so excited. Luckily my camera was laying close by so I grabbed it and clicked. Yeah, the settings were a little off so the pictures is a little "noisy" or fuzzy, but who cares right? To me their expressions are PRICELESS!

Like Mommy Like Daughter

I always have people ask me about Kinsley, "Who does she look like?" She looks nothing like the twins and the blue eyes kind of throw her off from looking like me and she doesn't look like Shane (except for the blue eyes). Well, I think it's safe to say after looking at some of my baby pictures tonight that she looks like me, except the eye color of course. I don't have any baby pictures of Shane, but from the ones I have seen, she doesn't look like him as a baby.

11 months

Kinsley is 11 months. I guess it's that time to start planning a first birthday party. We are celebrating her actual birthday at Disney World dining at the Crystal Palace with Piglet, Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and some very special relatives, I have not seen in probably 10 years. Both of our families have grown since and I look forward to meeting your husband and two beautiful little boys, Kristen! Anyway, I do plan on having her a party here for family and friends as well.

MILESTONES:
* She waves at anyone and everyone. We were talking to Shane on the webcam the other day and she waved at him almost the entire time.

* She is standing for longer periods of time everyday.

* She says "Ma Ma" and "Na Na" (my mom"

* She LOVES books

* She loves to open and close anything (cabinets, drawers, doors, books, etc.)

* She loves to eat anything and everything (except baby food)

* She still loves drinking her bottle so I'm thinking I may have a harder time getting her off a bottle than I did with the twins. She may fool me though.

* She screams almost everyday while we are in the carline picking up the girls from school. If she's not screaming she is asleep. If I get there really early, I get her out and let her sit up front with me.

* I haven't taught her any baby sign language except for "all done" which she is really good at. She lets me know when she is all done. I do plan on teaching her more.

*She still enjoys her swing. If I do not get a shower during her morning nap (which usually isn't long), I put her in the swing in front of her Baby Einstein DVD and she loves it. I know I know, TV is bad for babies. 20-30 mins of this isn't going to hurt her in my opinion. Sometimes you have to do what ya have to do.

*She loves her NA NA (my mom)

*Her favorite song is "THis Little Light of Mine"

Now for the pictures I took of her today. I know I have a watermelon outfit on her which is for summer and it's almost Oct., but when it's still 93 degrees outside, you can't exactly put on fall clothes.

My South Carolina Gamecock Baby

My Daddy was a diehard USC fan and didn't miss a game if it was all possible for him to be there. The hat Kinsley has in the pictures was the last hat he ever bought from a game. He had to buy a new hat and a new shirt every year.

Kinsley did not want to wear this headband.

Standing

Kinsley has decided over the past few days she can stand alone and actually realize she is standing alone. She has done it a few times before, but she never realized it.

Laptop vs Desktop

So, for the first time since Feb. I am back to using my Desktop. Shane bought me a lap top for valentines day this past Feb. and for some reason (probably from the girls pulling it around everywhere while being plugged up), it will not charge. So, thankfully, I had not give my Desk Top away and was able to pull it out of the "midget doors", as the girls call them, in the bonus room over the garage. Hopefully sometime next week I will get my lap top down to Best Buy and get it fixed.
