Pregnancy Update

I went to the doctor this morning and everything looked good. I had to do a 24 hour urine analysis & blood work a couple weeks ago and the results came back good. I had a brief ultrasound and the baby looked great:) The twin and it's sac was still there but had gotten much smaller. She thinks the baby is a girl but wasn't 100%. She saw nothing "sticking out" as she said. I go back on June 3 for the anatomy scan.

Other news is....1) my girls are having their Kindergarten end of year ceremony today and 2) my new camera is suppose to arrive today. I'm so excited!

Now a couple of prayer request!

1) A family friend, Preston Wood, tragically lost his Dad this past Sunday. He shot and killed himself. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.

2) A member of our church family, Angie Tesner, had a massive stroke a week ago. She is only 37 and her daughter is graduating high school this year. The last update I had is she was on a ventilator and feeding tube and her brain was swollen. They were going to do surgery to relieve the pressure, but decided against it. As of Sunday, she was stable. PLEASE keep this family in your daily thoughts and prayers as well!!

Excited about my new camera

I just ordered a Nikon D90 DSLR camera with a 18-200 mm VR lens with all the accessories (flash, filters, etc.) I am so excited. I am upgrading from an Olympus Evolt 410. I was going to buy the D300 but I was so afraid to go that big right now so at the last min. I decided to go with the D90. When I get it, if anybody wants pictures done let me know, I would LOVE THE PRACTICE:)

Surgery

The girls had their appointment with the Ear, Nose, and Throat Doctor yesterday. As soon as he looked in the girls mouth he said, "WOAH!" Yeah, they have HUGE tonsils. They measure them on a scale from plus 1-4, and theirs is a plus 4 meaning they are so big they touch. He said, "They can't be sleeping good at night." I have been trying to tell their Pediatrician since August about their sleeping, snoring, sleep apnea, mouth breathing, etc. She would give them allergy medicine and stuff to spray up their nose. But anyway, after school is out both girls will be having their tonsils and adenoids taken out. I am TERRIFIED of the fact of them having surgery. I know they need it and will feel so much better but it still scares me. He also said, they need to rest and be on "light activity" for 2 weeks after the surgery to prevent bleeding. For those of you that know my wild and crazy girls, know this is almost impossible! I'm not sure of the date yet, but they are going to call me within 5 days to set up the surgery.

The pictures were scanned so not very clear.  Anyway, as some of you know, mine and Shane’s life together has had many trials, bumps, and hurdles thrown in it’s path. It was not always easy to hold on and not give up. There were times we both wanted to. 7 months ago, our marriage was over but Thanks to our AMAZING God, we did hang on, and we fought, and today our love is stronger than ever.  I love him so much more today than I did the day we got married. Physically we are worlds apart, but emotionally, we are closer than we ever have been!

Mrs. Wishy Washy and Peter Pan

The girls had story book character dress up day today at school. All the cute little ideas I came up with (Angelina Ballerina, Junie B. Jones, Princess Jasmine, Barbie, etc), my aunt had the Peter Pan costume and the skirt that is 5 times too big and that's what they wanted to be. Kelsey is Mrs. Wishy Washy. Still cute though:)

A Good Day

After having several really bad days with nausea and vomiting, today has been better. I called the doctor yesterday and they wanted me to come in for some IV fluids. They gave me a prescription for phenegren. It's in suppository form (UGHHH), but at least it seems to be working. I was actually able to sit down and eat today and hold it down. I can not remember the last time I ate without forcing myself too, without gaging, and keeping it down longer than an hour. I bought some preggo pops last week, which helped with the nausea as long and I could catch it when it first started, but I went through them in like 4 days. I need to go get some more but I just don't feel like getting out of the house. All I want to do is sleep. I'm still praying it gets better soon and I don't have to deal with this the entire pregnancy like with the girls.

There is really no more news. Shane is doing well. I miss him so much and wish he was here with me. It makes it even harder going through this pregnancy without him. Some days I deal with it so better than others. The girls are doing well. Kaley's staples came out this past week, which is such a dramatic story in itself. They are growing up so fast. We go to the ENT next week to determine if they need their tonsils and adenoids taken out.
