NO TEARS IN HEAVEN!!!

No more suffering!! No more pain! No more sickness!! There are "NO TEARS IN HEAVEN!"

Loving Husband, Father and Son!! He was an amazing Papa who loved those little girls more than anything on this earth. I believe they are why he held on as long as he did. He kept telling us, "I promised Kelsey and Kaley I would always be there for them" Most importantly, he was a devoted Christian whom did everything he could to his life according to God's will.

He took his last breath around 2:20 AM Saturday morning. I was on one side and Mom on the other holding him and talking to him. Our wonderful preacher and friend, Jon, my Papa Nelson, and my Aunt Linda were also in the room. I feel like God sent Linda to be there that day with him and my Mom. She was amazing with Daddy and her presence was a blessing. It was the hardest and most painful experience of my life but I THANK GOD for giving me the strength to be there for him and for my Mom. I just told the girls this evening what happened, but I think they kind of had it figured out on their own. They are trying to act like they didn't hear me. I think they are going to be okay though. They are tuff little girls.

Another blessing...I contacted the American Red Cross to get a message sent out to Shane. They are putting him on a plane in the morning to come home. He will be here for almost 4 weeks. We have not spent a Thanksgiving together in 4 years and we will do so this year. Also, his family needs him right now in the loss of his grandparents.

I thank each and everyone of you for your comments, your thoughts, your prayers, your support, tand the offers to help me with the girls! IT means more to me than you will ever know. Please continue praying for our family because we have a long road ahead of us and it is going to take time to heal our broken hearts. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!

You are such a strong woman! God bless your family!
Your Daddy may have lost his battle with cancer, but he won the victory of HEAVEN. What a blessing!
I'm so glad that Shane is coming home.
