Random

Here are a few random pictures and happenings over the past week or so. These are all taken with my mobile phone, but still wanted to share.

Kaley came home from school this past Friday with the Great Gator Award for best behavior. I was so proud of her:) Also notice the new haircut:) They have been letting it grow out (and their bangs), but they have such thick and unmanagable hair, I finally talked them into getting it cut.

Kelsey and kaley riding "The Intimidator" at Carowinds. This is the Southeast's tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster. My girls are such daredevils. Of course I was the same way at their age.

Curiosity

We were walking through the baby section at Target this evening and we walked by the breast pumps. Kelsey picked one of them up and said, "Mom, is this one of those things you use if you have asthma?" I kind of chuckled and then told her what it was really for. The poor child was so embarrassed. She and Kaley then started walking behind me, whispering to one another and laughing. I did not nurse Kinsley, so they had no clue what it was.

Catching up

I've tried to catch up on some blogging from the past month. When Shane is home, I try not to spend time away from him by blogging or getting on facebook. So, he is gone back now for 60 more days. Lord willing, he will be home mid Oct. for 30 more days. We have a big trip planned to Disney for Kinsley's first birthday:) Anyways, I have posted several blogs (5), mostly pictures, if anyone cares to read on our lake trip, golf lessons, friends, headbands, and 10 month pictures.

Our mini vacation to the lake

The week before Shane left and the girls started school we took a little trip to Lake Marion. The girls experience many first including riding jet skis, kneeboarding, and catching their first fish. Shane and I definetly found out our "age" and how out of shape we were because we were both so sore when we came home we could barely move. I kneeboarded for the first time in YEARS, and we both had a blast on the tubes, even after getting thrown off a few times. The girls were in the water from the time they woke up until dark for 3 entire days. We are hoping to buy a boat the first of the year so maybe next summer we can take our little "fish" to the lake more often. I grew up on a lake because my Grandparents had a lake house and I know how much I loved it.

The girls want to learn how to play Golf like their Daddy. So he bought them some clubs. We took them to the driving range to hit some balls. They both hit very well:)
